Andrea Miles hailed as taxpayer hero
In a letter to the editor from John Camp of South Hadley, Andrea Miles and Sarah Etelman were hailed as taxpayer heroes for their vote to close the struggling Ledges Golf Course.
Camp wrote:
The course has never made money (taxpayers have covered above $8.5 million losses since the course opened) and the requests to operate the course by a professional business still would require the Town to cover yearly deficits. These two heroes wanted to end the bleeding of the tax payers’ money.
